Qatar's men's and women's beach volleyball teams have departed for the Lebanese city of Batroun to take part in a training and preparation camp ahead of the commitments to come.
The camp is part of preparations for the Arab and West Asian beach volleyball championships, both of which are to be held in Batroun in the period ahead.
It is intended to raise the technical and physical readiness of the players, to increase their competitive exposure and test their level before the official competitions, and to give both squads the conditions in which to produce the kind of performance that is reflected in results.
The camp is an important step in the preparation of both teams, helping to sharpen the players' skills and to ensure they are able to compete strongly.
The Qatar Volleyball Association hopes these preparations will produce results worthy of the standard of Qatari volleyball and strengthen its standing regionally and across the Arab world.
