The Qatari pair defeated Sri Lanka 2–1 on Wednesday in their Pool D encounter, maintaining their positive start to the continental competition.
Alkhair and Ihab opened their Asian Games campaign with a convincing 2–0 victory over the Republic of Korea, underlining their readiness to compete at one of Asia's major sporting events.
Their participation comes after a strong run of results in recent months, including a silver medal at the West Asia Beach Volleyball Championship in Batroun, Lebanon, in August.
The Qatari pair will now turn their attention to their upcoming matches as they look to maintain their winning momentum and progress further in the Asian Games.
