About the Association
Founded in 1962, the Qatar Volleyball Association governs indoor and beach volleyball in Qatar, from grassroots participation to the national teams. Qatar will host the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in 2029.
Mission
To grow participation in volleyball across Qatar, develop players and officials to international standard, and represent the country with distinction in continental and world competition.
Governance
The Association is directed by an elected Board of Directors, whose members hold senior positions across the West Asian, Arab and Asian federations. Statutes, competition regulations and annual reports are published here in full.
