The Qatari team (1) for beach volleyball has finished eighth in the world

The Qatari team (1) for beach

volleyball consisting of duo Sherif Younis and Ahmed Tejan has finished eighth

in the world, according to the monthly ranking issued by the International

Federation of the game.

The Qatari team is preparing to

participate in the Katara International Beach Volleyball Championship which

will be launched tomorrow and organized by the Qatar volleyball Federation in

the cultural district “Katara” during the period from 12 to 16 March,

which is a four-star tour in the world.

The Qatar team finished ninth

with 4,200 points in 16 international and continental championships, with some

of them reaching the final and winning the title. The final was for the second

successive year in the seventh edition of the Qatar Masters Asian Beach

Volleyball Championship held at Aspire Over the course of three days and

concluded on 30 November last year 2018, after beating his Australian

counterpart

(2-0) in the final.

The Qatar team ranked first in

the Asian and Arab world, while Norway’s MOL and Sormom topped the list with

5690 points.
