Subject: QVA Beach Volleyball Series 2017
Dear All,
We are very glad to inform ALL of YOU that during the Sport Season 2017 QVA will organize 5 Beach Volleyball OPEN Events FIVB and AVC Homologated (distributing FIVB ranking points as per National Tour).
All events will be held in Qatar during the following dates:
– 1st EVENT 02, 03 and 04 March 2017
– 2nd EVENT 09, 10 and 11 March 2017
– 3rd EVENT 16, 17 and 18 March 2017
– 4th EVENT 23, 24 and 25 March 2017
– 5th EVENT 19, 20 and 21 October 2017
Each Event will have a USD 6.000 Prize Money so divided:
1st Classified USD 2.000 (two thousand)
2nd Classified USD 1.500 (one thousand five hundred)
3rd Classified USD 1.000 (one thousand)
4th Classified USD 500 (five hundred)
5th Classified (4) USD 250 (two hundred fifty)
Each Event will be organized according to the following schedule:
1st DAY: Qualification Tournament (if and when necessary) max 16 teams, 4 teams entering the Main Draw through Single Elimination bracket;
2nd DAY: Main Draw (16 teams, best 12 teams directly in the Bracket, 4 teams arriving from the Qualification Tournament) Pool Play games or Single Elimination bracket (depending on the number of courts available);
3rd DAY: Main Draw, Pool play games if necessary + Single Elimination bracket or Single Elimination bracket.
Participation of player/s and or team/s from Foreign Federation/s:
Player/s or team/s coming from Foreign Federation/s can take part in the event/s by presenting in advance the Authorization of the Federation of Origin, a valid Medical Certificate and a copy of a valid Passport.
Each player or team coming from Foreign Federation is allowed to participate a maximum of TWO events during the season.
Each team can register for each event through http://fivb.org/vis2009 or sending one email to technical.beach@volleyball.qa with attached all above required documents.
The registration of foreign teams will be considered valid only if made at least 7 days before each event; the registration of team living in Qatar will be considered valid if made at least three days before the event.
