QVA signs sponsorship agreement with Al Waha Motors – Jetour

The Qatar Volleyball Association has signed a sponsorship and partnership agreement with Al Waha Motors – Jetour, under which the company becomes the official carrier of the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U17 World Championship – Doha 2026, alongside sponsoring the national beach volleyball players Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan as ambassadors of the Jetour brand.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr Ali Ghanim Al-Kuwari, President of the Qatar Volleyball Association, and Mr Ziyad Al-Qatami, Vice Chairman of Al Waha Motors, together with officials and representatives of the local media.

The agreement reflects the association's commitment to strengthening partnership with the private sector and supporting the hosting and organisation of major sporting events, serving the championship's goals and reinforcing Qatar's presence on the global sporting stage.

The partnership with Al Waha Motors – Jetour likewise expresses the company's support for sport and its athletes, through sponsoring the U17 World Championship and backing the national beach volleyball stars Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, who rank among the world's leading beach volleyball players.

Both parties affirmed the importance of this partnership in supporting Qatari volleyball and deepening cooperation between sporting institutions and the private sector, in keeping with Qatar's hosting of the world's leading sporting events.
