Qatar’s Al-Rayyan Volleyball Club won
the Arab Clubs Championship in its 37th edition which ended today in Tunisia to
maintain the title they won last year after beating Esperance on Tuesday with
three games for two games. the matches came 19-25 and 25 – 22, 22-25, 25-20 and
15-09.
Qatar’s police team finished third
after beating Algeria’s Petrochemicals 3-0
by 25-20, 25-17 and 25-20.
Al Rayyan won all the games he played
in the tournament, where he topped his first group with 6 points after beating
both the Palestinian Single club and Khaybal team on the same score (3-0), and
beat Kuwaiti Kuwait sport club three games for a run in the quarter-finals to
qualify for the semi-finals Which he played yesterday with the Qatari police
and won three games for two.
