The Qatar Volleyball Association has concluded the women's and girls' general league competitions for the 2025–2026 season in a festive atmosphere, attended by association officials led by Mr Youssef Ahmed Kanoo, Secretary General, and Mrs Amna Barakat Al-Kuwari, board member and chair of the women's sport committee, with the winning teams crowned after the closing matches.
In the women's league, Al Arabi were crowned champions for 2025–2026 after the strong levels and distinguished performances the team produced throughout the competition, with Al Rayyan finishing second and Qatar SC third — a championship that reflected the marked progress of women's volleyball and the strength of competition between the participating clubs.
In the girls' league, Al Khor took the title after topping the overall standings, with Al Arabi second and Al Rayyan third, amid strong competition and promising performances from the players across the season.
Following the final matches, association officials crowned the winning teams with medals and trophies, and presented the prize money allocated to the top three places in both competitions.
The women's league prizes were: first place (Al Arabi) QR 150,000; second place (Al Rayyan) QR 100,000; third place (Qatar SC) QR 50,000.
The girls' league prizes were: first place (Al Khor) QR 75,000; second place (Al Arabi) QR 55,000; third place (Al Rayyan) QR 40,000.
The organisation of the women's and girls' leagues is part of the association's efforts to support and develop women's volleyball and broaden participation among the clubs, helping prepare a promising generation of players capable of representing the national teams in the events ahead.
