Al Arabi defeated Al Rayyan in three straight sets in the match that brought them together today, as part of the ninth and final round of the first division of the QVA senior men’s league, all whose matches are held at the QVA Hall with the participation of 10 clubs. Al Arabi won with the following set scores: (25-22), (25-18), (25-20). Al Arabi raised its tally to 21 points in third place, while Al Rayyan, the defending champion, remained at 16 points in fourth place. In another match, Al Sadd achieved its first victory in the tournament against Al Gharafa with a score of three sets to two.

Al Sadd won with the following set scores: (16-25), (26-24), (20-25), (25-16),(15-9). With this result, Al Sadd earned two points to remain in tenth and last place, while Al Gharafa’s tally stopped at four points in ninth place. With the end of the first division matches, Al Wakrah team leads the standings with 22 points in first place, Police team is second, and Al Arabi is third, each with 21 points.

Al Rayyan, Qatar and Al Ahli clubs finished in the fourth to sixth places respectively, each with 16 points, followed by Al Khor in seventh place with 11 points, Al Shamal in eighth place with 6 points, Al Gharafa in ninth place with 3 points, and Al Sadd in tenth and last place with 2 points.

It is worth noting that the Police and Qatar teams are currently participating in the 44th Arab Men’s Volleyball Club Championship, which is being held in Tunisia and concludes on January 17.
