The Qatar Volleyball Association’s Exploration and Development Committee continued its efforts to attract emerging talents by organizing field visits to several schools as part of a comprehensive program to discover talented players. These visits were led by Captain Yousef Fereydoun, a member of the committee, along with several age group coaches in the association, where field tests were conducted that included students from the Global Universe Academy, Virginia Academy, Al-Quds School, and several other schools, with the aim of selecting the best players who possess the necessary skills to develop them.

Through this initiative, the committee seeks to strengthen the base of young players and hone their talents to feed local clubs and national teams with young talents capable of representing Qatar in international forums. These efforts are also in line with Qatar’s National Vision for Sustainable Development in the sports sector, which aims to create an integrated sports environment that enhances the capabilities of future generations in various fields.

This tour aims to confirm the commitment to developing school sports and transforming schools into a major tributary to clubs, by working according to strategies that ensure continued success and sustainable development in volleyball.
