The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari praised the distinguished results achieved by the Qatari clubs in the external participations the latest of which was the crowning of the Al Rayyan team with the title of the first West Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship recently in Jordan in which the Police SC team of Qatar finished in third place.
During the meeting of the QVA Ordinary General Assembly, Al Kuwari noted the importance of cooperation between the QVA and the clubs in order to develop the game.
He also praised the clubs’ preparations and their interest in the age groups category festivals which comes within the QVA’s strategy to discover talents in volleyball.
The QVA General Assembly meeting which was held today with the participation of representatives of clubs and members of the QVA Board of Directors as well as a representative of the Qatar Olympic Committee.
The agenda of the General Assembly included the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, the minutes of the Ordinary General Assembly, the approval of reports of past activities and future projects and a statement of revenues and expenses until Dec. 2022.
