Qatar Sports Club organized the 4th Mini-Volleyball Festival for kids under 13 years old by use of a 4×4 system, with over 130 young players in this age group joining the fun-filled activities under cooperation and close supervision of the Qatar Volleyball Association, headed by Mr Ali bin Ghanem Al-Kuwari.

The Festival was jointly presided by His Excellency Sheikh.Suhaim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Vice President of Qatar Sports Club, and Mr Ali bin Ghanem Al Kuwari, President of the Qatar and West Asia Volleyball Association, and attended by Mr Mohamed Salem Al Kuwari, the WAVA Secretary General, and Mr Khaled Al Kaabi, Head of Volleyball at Qatar Sports Club, under the auspices of the QVA.

A number of most prominent former players and fans of the game started the activities of the festival with the national anthem, followed by the start of the festival matches among the young players from 9 clubs consisting of Al-Wakra, Al-Gharafa, Al-Rayyan, Al-Sadd, Qatar, Al-Arabi, Al-Khor, Al-Shamal and Al-Ahly.

His Excellency Sheikh Suhaim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani and Mr Ali bin Ghanem Al-Kuwari honored the senior players in the game, led by Captain Jamal Al-Madfaa, one of the most prominent founders of volleyball at Qatar Sports Club, Jassim Mohammad Al-Kaabi, Hassan Mirza, and  named by his son Muhammad, Rashid Ghanem Al-Kwai, Hassan Najm, Muhammad Salem Al-Kuwari, Ismail Hassan Al-Shaeeb.

The QVA technical expert Hussein Imam Ali and Dr Hashim Al-Rawi, was also honored, in addition to the participating referees, the organizational and technical committees, the participating club teams, coaches and their assistants, at the end of the festival.
