The second day of the 39th FIVB General Assembly in Porto, Portugal witnessed a special celebration that recognized outstanding contributions to the development of the sport. The highlight of the event was the presentation of several awards to individuals and organizations, with FIVB President Ary S. Graça being honored for his exceptional leadership and contributions over the course of his 12-year tenure.

President Graça was also honored by several members and federations from around the world, with the QVA playing a prominent role in the celebration, paying special tribute to former President Graça, expressing its gratitude for his great efforts in promoting volleyball globally, and reviewing the fruitful cooperation between the two sides during his tenure.
